Intra oral cameras (IOCs) are cameras used by dentists to communicate with a patient about its interior of their intra oral situation, as an alternative to using a mirror.
IOCs allow the patient to see a high-definition pictures of the intra oral situation, aiding at a better chair-side communication, which help the dentist in consulting with them on various treatment options. Images or videos can be stored to a patient's file for future reference.
